Insurance Claims & Flood Restoration Plumbing

The plumbing side of getting a property back after an escape of water or a flood. Make-safe, find the cause, strip out, reinstate, sign off. For restoration contractors across the South East of England, and for homeowners and landlords locally.

Who we work with

Years alongside Farcroft Restoration

CG Plumbing has worked alongside Farcroft Restoration for years as the plumbing subcontractor on their bespoke flood restorations across the whole of the South East of England. That meant fitting in with a restoration programme, working around drying and building teams, and turning up on the day the schedule said, on everything from a badly flooded house to a one-room escape of water.

That experience is what we bring to a single insurance claim in a Halstead semi, and what we offer restoration contractors who need a plumber they do not have to chase: the job is not finished until the plumbing is reinstated, tested and the paperwork is done.

How a claim job runs

From make-safe to sign-off

Insurance work has an order to it, and the plumbing has to land in the right place in the programme. This is where we fit.

1

Make safe

Isolate the supply, stop the water, and make the property safe so the drying and restoration teams can start.

2

Find the cause

Trace the leak or failure and tell you and your insurer plainly what let go, where, and why.

3

Strip out

Remove the damaged pipework, cylinders, radiators, sanitaryware and bathroom fittings that the claim covers.

4

Reinstate

Fit the new plumbing to the restoration programme: first fix while the building is open, second fix once it is dried and finished.

5

Sign off

Test, commission and hand over, with the photographs and paperwork the claim needs.

Who this is for

Restoration and insurance contractors

A plumbing subcontractor who turns up when the programme says, works around your drying and building teams, and does not need chasing. We have done exactly this alongside Farcroft Restoration for years, on bespoke flood restorations across the South East of England, and we have the capacity for new restoration partners.

Homeowners with a claim

An escape of water, a burst in a cold snap, a failed cylinder. We handle the plumbing side of getting your home back, and we speak insurer.

Landlords and letting agents

Tenanted property, a claim in progress, and a deadline to get people back in. One plumber for the whole job, from make-safe to sign-off.
